If for some reason you will not be able to keep your appointment
for a procedure, or if you are going to be unavoidably late, please
notify us as soon as possible.
If you have an after hours emergency, please call (330) 493-1480
and the answering service will contact the physician on call.
Office Visit
The initial visit to the doctor entails a consultation which may
take from 30 to 45 minutes. If you had X-Rays of your stomach, colon
or gallbladder done in the past six months, you will be advised to
have your results sent to us, or have your referring physician fax
them to us. You will be asked by your referring physician to sign a release form and will be
given the results to personally bring to your
appointment. Copies of any recent blood work done in or
out of the hospital, are
helpful to the doctor and often saves time and money.
What if My Doctor is Away?
At times, your doctor and/or his staff may be attending educational
seminars designed to increase skills and to keep abreast of the
latest developments. If you have a medical emergency during one of
those times, another Gastroenterology Associates, Inc. physician
will be available to see you for your medical needs.
